The Granary

Couples will find The Granary the perfect place to enjoy some time together.  The superking size bed is always made using good quality white bed linen and allergy free pillows and duvet.  The cosy living space downstairs has a woodburner, soft sofa and smart TV.  The fridge includes an ice compartment for ice cream or cocktails and the kitchen has an oven, grill and microwave so you can cook up a feast or simply re-heat a take-away.   A romantic countryside walk with fantastic views starts nearby.  The cottage is quiet and ideal for leisurely lie-ins.

At the end of a no-through lane and part of a working farm, The Granary is within easy walking distance of Beaminster town but enjoys a wonderfully rural location with views over countryside and possible sightings of cattle, hens, guinea fowl and sheep.  

12 months from almost derelict barn to luxurious one bedroom cottage, The Granary was constructed using sustainable practices and materials.  The decoration was intentionally premium quality with all fixtures and fittings of the highest standard and built to last.  The finished result is a truly sumptious space that has been well considered for a relaxing and trouble free stay.

The kitchen features a full-size conventional oven with grill, a microwave oven, a deep sink with draining board, kettle, toaster and a fridge with an ice compartment.  Additionally, plenty of chopping boards, knives, cutlery and dishes.  

The Granary is powered solely by electricity supported by solar power.  The water supply is spring-fed, filtered, free from chemicals and utterly delicious.

The farm is a bio-diverse environment, practicing sustainable low-density farming practices and supports a small herd of free-range Dexter cattle.  

Free parking for The Granary is right outside the gate with just a few paces to the front door.  It couldn't be easier for getting your suitcase upstairs or your shopping to the fridge.  We hope to include an EV charger soon ... watch this space!

Featuring a pretty South West facing terrace that is fully fenced allowing your four-legged friends freedom to pop outside while staying safe within the boundaries.  You will find a towel for rainy days, a throw to protect the furniture, a few poo bags, a water bowl and a few little treats to help make Fido feel at home.
