Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Well equipped for our two spaniels with lovely walks right on our doorstep. The cottage was perfect for a quiet, cosy long weekend away. Plenty of places nearby to visit and see. Would highly recommend

Stunning cottage in a fantastic setting. Peaceful and tranquil, but within easy reach of the coast and local attractions.

We had such a lovely stay! The place has been lovingly thought out and is a real beauty — cosy, welcoming, and beautifully furnished, with the added treat of a log burner for cosy evenings. The bed was very comfy, and the shower was great too.
The kitchen is really well equipped with everything you need to cook, which made our stay even more comfortable. Our dog loved the little paved garden, and we really appreciated the thoughtful dog items provided, like the towel and bowl. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
A big thank you to Anna, our host, for the warm welcome and goodbye, and for being so friendly and helpful throughout our stay — especially for the extra logs when we needed them. Highly recommend!

The cottage was a delightful place and perfect for the quiet getaway we desired. A short walk takes you into Beaminster with its shops and eateries. a good location for exploring the locality. The surrounding countryside looked ideal for walking - something to come back to!

Lovely 5 day break, plenty of places to go within approx 30 min drive. Very peaceful area and very pretty. Lovely restaurants and a nice pub (The Red lion) in the village. Mapperton House was worth a visit, although it closes in October for the winter. Anna was very nice and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

This cottage is in a very good walking area. Local pub The Greyhound inn Beaminster is the best one about. Excellent food with good value for what you pay and dog friendly. Shops in town are excellent - and have all essentials anyone might need locally.

The cottage was warm and cozy but offered plenty of space for two people and a dog. Beautifully finished and tasteful design. The garden gate opened onto a hardly used public footpath which quickly lead to an open field. Perfect for dog exercise. 15 mins stroll into Beaminster with two pubs and a hotel with restaurant. Several cafes, butcher etc. The coast is a 10 mile drive away. A really lovely cottage at the end of a no through road so very quiet. Warm amd friendly host so what more could you want!
