Sleeping 6 very comfortably across 2 twin bedded rooms and 1 superking bedroom, The Old Cheesehouse is in a quiet location where you'll sleep peacefully and probably longer than you expect!
Each bedroom has it's own bathroom, 2 are ensuite.
The superking bedroom has an ensuite bathroom which includes both a shower and a bath. A lovely carp

The large kitchen dining room is well-designed for 6 people to cook up a feast and sit comfortably at the table with a view of the garden and farmland beyond.
A Rayburn heats the water and provides a warm haven for people (and dogs) to hang out by. There's also an island with bar stools for socialising with the chef.

Plenty of well-equipped cupboards with utensils, cookware and dishes, and still room for food storage including a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher.
The induction hob and double oven provide roomy cooking facilities.

Glass doors and a double height ceiling help to keep the house feeling light and airy in the cosy sitting room with a log burner and smart TV.
The mezzanine overlooks the sitting room, with a desk for working or makes a great play space for kids.
A second area with sofa and armchairs provides another place to sit quietly for work, reading or games.

Children and Babies are welcome at The Old Cheesehouse. Please let us know if you need a high chair or travel cot.
The house is built over different levels, there are many steps and it may be unsuitable for those unsteady on their feet.

The garden is well fenced, and gates keep it private. A stream runs through the garden and a bridge gives a wonderful view down into the gulley beneath.
A table and chairs make the garden a lovely place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee in the sunshine.

Beaminster has many lovely footpaths and bridleways to explore with dogs. The Old Cheesehouse is well-suited to four-legged friends and we welcome up 2 at a time. The garden is well-fenced and the stream is not accessible.

Located at the end of a no through lane, The Old Cheesehouse is in a rural location (on the edge of a farm) but within easy walking distance of Beaminster.
Beaminster has some fantastic restaurants, pubs and shops. Only 10 minutes drive to Bridport and another 5 minutes on to West Bay and the famous Jurassic Coast.

The Old Cheesehouse enjoys filtered, spring fed water, free from chemicals and utterly delicious.
The farm is a bio-diverse environment, practicing sustainable low-density farming practices and supports a growing small herd of free-range Dexter cattle.
