Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. We loved the Old Cheese House and had a wonderful New Year reunion with old friends. Hosts were quick to respond and very helpful. We would happily return to this beautiful peaceful environment

Lovely old property that has been fitted and furnished beautifully. Comfy lounge with huge tv and fantastic wood burner. Modern kitchen and loads of space in kitchen, dining area and bedrooms. 15 min walk to fantastic restaurants and pubs (Greyhound Inn was spectacular value!).
Ideal for ourselves (2 mature couples) but highly recommended for families or multi generational holidays. Anna was very welcoming. The butcher in the village does fabulous bacon and sausages too!

We had a wonderful weekend with family in Anna’s place. I think we spent 95% of our time awake in the kitchen since it is an excellent place to cook and socialise at the same time. And we wanted to spoil our relatives with tasty meals. We visited in November and had both beautiful sunshine and the rain hammering down outside (something that actually made us feel even more cosy and warm). I can imagine this being a total bliss in the summer when you can open up the big glass doors and windows to the rather interesting garden.
The beds were very comfortable and the quilts kept us at a comfortable sleeping temperature. Since this place is in a rural location it was also both quiet and dark and we left energised with good food and sleep. Highly recommend The Old Cheesehouse!
